Sorry I haven’t posted any new strips lately.

I’ve been busy as hell these past few months finishing up Starcraft for Wildstorm and starting work on Angel for IDW. I also contributed a bunch of work to How To Draw Super Powered Heroes from Antarctic Press.

Anyway, I’ve been working on new strips as I have time and wanted to build a bit of a buffer before I return.

Now that I’m down to one book a month, whew! Yea!, I’ll be able to focus more on Denham Shorts.

Strips will return Tuesday, August 25th.

That will make it a nice round 4 months between strips.

I’m drawing Starcraft right now in between issues of X-Files.

These Denham Shorts allow me to do something I feel like doing, to flex my artistic plexus, if you will.

Random city shot!

This is why I set up this strip; To draw whatever I want, whenever I want, without any restrictions.

If I made a strip about gophers in a modern setting, I may not be able to draw a city shot like this. Or, if it was about people in a city, I may not get to draw aliens.

It’s random as heck, but I hope you’ll excuse the assorted madness I’ll post up here.

I was going to jazz up the site with cool color schemes and whatnot, but I focused more on the exact color scheme I wanted rather than drawing any art.

So, now we just have black, white, some shades of blue lettering and some pinkish-purple color for contrast.

My motto here is just to Keep It Simple Strips.
